Might be from a glitch or something if you truly don’t hack.

Is it a shared switch, though? Are you sure it’s not hacked?

no, its my own switch I don't share it, and I honestly wouldn't even know where to start with hacking hardware lol so definitely not. someone on another post mentioned to clear the emote wheel so ill do that when I go on later today

I also recommend uninstalling and reinstalling as well as reporting this as a bug!!

I worry for your account getting banned bc if fortnite somehow “detects” this again, I’m not sure if they’ll suspend you or just go straight to ban :(

Yeah launch Switch systems can be hacked but I don't think anybody has made specific hacks for fortnite on switch and I don't think anybody would want to anyway

I mean, I agree with you. The only reason anyone brought up hacks to begin with is because this error message is meant for hackers, after all. In any other situation, no one would even think of someone hacking fortnite on switch 💀

I have modified and "hacked" my switch easily, and I can install mods to games easily as well. I doubt it's difficult to get fortnite hacks on a switch.
