Unlinking account on switch

Is it true that you must wait a year to link it to another account? A years a long time also will it keep all my skins and progress when I link it to the new Nintendo account?

Yes, it will keep your skins and progress when linked to a new Nintendo account. If this is the first time you’re doing it, you do not need to wait a year. That only happens when you’ve linked two different Nintendo accounts to your Fortnite account.

From what I know, if you unlink a Nintendo account from your Fortnite (EpicGames account) you cannot link another one. It also gives a warning what will happen if you hit unlink. I forget what it says but if I remember it says something about unable to link another.
