I am dumb, ik😅

As a cuber it annoys me that not all his cubes are solved
1
u/Old_Doughnut_6384 1d ago
Came here for this! I couldn’t study with an unsolved cube, I would have to solve it first. I got a cube keychain as a present and it’s kind of hard to turn the layers (it’s not necessarily made well) and it annoys me a lot if it gets messed up in my bag because my fingers are too fat to solve the layers and it gets stuck all the time

What is the name of the program you use on your PC to write on? I have been searching for a good one fpr ages, nice setup btw

u/anesita 3d ago
Cool, I like it.
What's behind the book? A screen? I like that it seems to have formulas writing by hand, I would like to buy something similar...
2
u/RayEEm_ 3d ago
well, actually, the book had questions and i was solving them on the screen using a graphics tablet.

What software are you writing on? And what graphics tablet and stylus are you using.

Can you share what software you're using to take note directly on the screen? It looks cool and save lots of time

Too many distractions for me. All I need to focus on is a clean, empty table, a book that I am currently studying, and a cup of coffee. That's it.

cool stuff but too much stimulation for me :/ i just want to look at my laptop (at max extender) with my notebook otherwise my brain will not process anything :(

u/Low_elo001 2d ago
Btw, do you mind telling us, what do you do ?
Like school/clg/masters/job/business.....?

u/Low_elo001 2d ago
Tbh, it looks nice ,
but as others said, too much distraction
And also, my advice, from personal experience, not to be too much invested into room decoration and aestheticism
get studying , these will happen when you are established in life.

Ten out of ten for organization and aesthetic appeal; that's one seriously inspiring study space!

u/gothtopus-108 2d ago
are you adhd/autistic/some other kind of neurodivergent? These comments about it being distracting are cracking me up. My AuDHD ass could study for hours there. I always focous better in more "cluttered" environments. I remember as a kid my parents thought I was being distracted by something external so they kept taking away any sources of distraction until it was just me and my homework and I'd sit staring at the wall thinking about god knows what instead of doing my work. My theory is having a bases layer of stimulation around me keeps my overactive "background" brain busy so my "foreground" brain can actually get something done.

u/RayEEm_ 2d ago
haven't been diagnosed by a professional but i think i have ADHD, the symptoms say so. I also have severe social anxiety and not too many friends. Btw i have essential tremor (maybe being born premature has something to do with it)
and yes they don't distract me at all.
interesting theory tbh

I would never willingly sit at that desk just to look at that screen or that book. However, I'd be happy to sit there for other activities. And by the way, +1 for the water kettle! Is this a dorm room at uni?

What's the name of the "giant mousepad"/table mat-ish orange and black thing? (Sorry for my English, not a native speaker).

it's a youtuber merchandise from PC Builder Bangladesh, the most popular pc related channel in my country

Aesthetic 10/10.
However, after reading “Deep-work.” I know you need a more bland place for your study sessions. Your brain only needs to focus on the work before you. Everything else should be out of site

Bro's desk has more IQ than half my class combined 💀 Respect for the grind, the cube lineup alone deserves extra credit.

9/10. He's pleasant to be seated right next to you, clearly best in math, skilled in robotics, excels in coding, and knows all computer languages. He looks like a consistent with honors stuudent since elementary, slightly chubby, with rosy cheeks when he gets hot, and thick glasses. But he's always fresh and smells like Johnson's Baby Powder. He looks like the teacher's favorite, always the vice president, handing out biscuits to classmates when he has leftovers, or celebrating his birthday at school and invited friends and classmates over to his house for his 6th or 7th birthday. Looking at him now in high school, he's the guy you used to tease as small in elementary, but suddenly he's tall and lean, into sports like tennis, soccer, or badminton, though he can still play basketball and volleyball. He’s the type who’s in grade 9 but lives like he’s 26, juggling so many side hustles yet still maintains being an honor student. -1 because sometimes he comes off as a know-it-all, which annoys some people, making them feel like he's always trying to steal the spotlight.
He also looks like someone who loves to read, whether fiction or non-fiction. He probably grew up with Harry Potter, The Wizard of Oz, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and has most likely read books like Rich Dad Poor Dad and Atomic Habits. He's the type who would argue that the answer to a math problem is 3846 instead of 4705. He's the kind of nerd who won't get bullied, but he still gets chased by the girls. Actually, when it comes to sports, he’d likely be a runner or part of a triathlon team. He sings better than he dances, and he plays acoustic guitar, ukulele, or even piano. His parents think highly of him because among his siblings, he's the second oldest and expected to be responsible in every way. He’s always included in the spelling bee, even though what he’d really prefer is the science quiz bee.
