Question should I go ginger (visualization)
My natural colour is dark blonde/ash brown, as you can see. I'm a bit worried that ginger would look too intense (I don't have much contrast on my face lol) or that it would look bad with my red acne scars ✨

Absolutely! You should’ve done it yesterday! That’s how good it looks. I went ginger and have never gone back.

No it looks really good on you !! Looks natural even !! You should go for it ! I have similar features as you with my natural color being a bit darker and made the switch to ginger too and I really love the result ! I'll stick with it for a while I think.

10000000%! you look so glowy and beautiful with the red (and without too ofc). i think the red really harmonises your features and gives you a soft and warm look ❤️

Just want to add that the roots will be brutal. But at least less brutal if you pick a ginger color that is closer to your natural color.

Yes I'm worried about that too:( and I've never done anything with my hair so I'll be new to that struggles

There are powders and sprays to hide roots but it's still work. Those can be hard to find in the shade you need ss well so you might have to mix two to get close.. You will see similar brutal maintenance for the rest of the hair too but it's never bothered me as much as the roots. The roots can end up looking grey next to the dyed hair and they ruin the vibe imo..
Copper is such a pretty color though! Says something about the beauty of it that I've been willing to do the upkeep for so many years.
My routine used to look like this (just to give perspective):
Dye roots every 3 weeks at least (I bought professional dyes and made a mix for my specific hair and wishes)
Use depositing color in my conditioner every wash
Color mask every week
Root powder that you paint on every day, I usually started after 1 week since last dye.

Yesss!!
My natural hair color looks exactly like yours.
I went ginger (VERY similar to your pictures) and literally everyone compliments me, says it's YOUR color, and say it looks natural.
I think you should do it! I do not regret it at all.
It just brings so much life and fun! There's literally no reason not to. If you hate it, you can always dye your hair again + red washes out quickly (to preserve it, I use cold water to wash and radiant red shampoo/Conditioner)
I wish you the best!! :)

I thought you already were ginger, the face, freckles, and much thinning hair. Heard from ginger friends that most gingers have less hair on their heads, and your pics demonstrate the description especially at first glance without having to read context. Very few and rare women present their natural self in this day and age anymore, so embrace the look, it totally suits you. 💐

thank you! 🌞 I don't think I have thinning hair (it is thin tho xd) I just have most of it back on these pics:)

Yes you must. I use Lush caca rouge. The roots are much easier to maintain than dye as I make a dilute glaze to touch them up when the initial henna grows out. It reduces harsh lines. If you want to remove henna you need to cut it out, but you can use a more dilute glaze when growing out. It really is the most beautiful, non-fading copper

As a natural redhead, yes. The red looks more natural on you than your actual hair color!🥹

Wow I thought the red was natural!! The last picture where it’s red it looks so great on you! Your complexion and eyes are perfect for ginger. Spring is here and you would look absolutely great with it! I say go for it!!! Not everyone can pull off ginger but you certainly can
