Return to form. Their barrel-aged beers had lost their way. Most were either extremely one-note or way too rich. I'm talking about the French Press and Pumpkinator variants, as well as that awful 30th anniversary grand cru.

This one is nuanced with lots of interesting flavors reminiscent of a cocktail. You can taste the barrel aging, but there's still more going on to keep it interesting from first sip to last. I'm a fan and hope they continue the return of Bishop's Barrel.

Not bad, but as with most Bishop's barrel, you taste one bottle, then store the others for about 4 to 5 years. Drinking them after that time it will be smoother and more delicate.

Not bad, but it’s not good. It was just like an upgraded French Press and I overpaid for basically one French Press.

I love the brewery and want to respect the history of this but it's okay
