My husband got this big guy from a shelter last week. He was very skinny at about 115lbs. I’d say he should be more like 125-130lbs when healthy, so we’re working on getting that weight up now. Shelter said they think he’s about two years old but didn’t have much more info on him as he was a “nighttime dump.” These pictures don’t do the size of his head and neck justice. We have some guesses at what we think he may be, but wanted to know what others thought.

We live in a touristy area and animals are consistently dumped on holiday weekends. We found this baby yesterday covered in ticks, he's sweet as can be. Any idea what breed he is?

Hi everyone, my partner and I recently adopted this girl from the shelter! We were told she’s at least 2 years old and an American Bully or Pitbull Mix. She’s around 40 pounds, incredibly friendly, and a Velcro dog. I’m not entirely sure what breeds are all encompassed in the American bully mix, but we are definitely thinking part Staffordshire bull terrier. However, neither of us have had any type of the general encompassed breeds she could be growing up so, we’d love to know everyone’s opinions on what she could be!

He weighs nearly 100 pounds. He's just under 2 years old. Very active, very friendly. Biggest things we're confused on is his saggy face and super loose skin on his neck. (Puppy picture included)

I only successfully predicted 2 of the breeds, which was Great pyranese and miniature schnauzer but definitely wasn't expecting the rest.

He’s only 3 according to his dentals even tho he looks like an old man haha. I originally thought beagle but then realized he has no white on him at all, so now I’m thinking maybe beagle basset mix with that droopy face look and the freckles ? Not sure. Also yes, he looks kinda rough but like I said, just found him a few days ago. We been to the vet and he should fully recover in the next 2 weeks :) his name is road dog.

Photos are from 3 months and 4 months old! I think she looks like a lab but literally every. single. person. thinks she's a pit, even former pit owners! Could she be part pit?

My fiancé’s coworker is offering us this (very, very cute) dog and saying she’s a maltese/chihuahua, and I am HIGHLY skeptical. What do y’all think she is? They have not gotten back to us on age, just said she’s a puppy, but I can report back once we get an answer.

I got him at the shelter a few months back. Age around 6-9 months old I'd say. Paperwork said Aussie - Border Collie mix. I can definitely see that. He's unbelievably smart and sweet. One of the best dogs Ive ever had, and super easy to train. His name is Atlas.

The Idaho Falls Animal Shelter asked our community for help identifying breeds within this cute boy. I'm curious as to what others on reddit think. The shelter added these details: He is tall and lean. He has fine wispy hair on his sides, belly, legs, chest and haunches (possibly from having some matting for prolonged periods) He has nice thick guard hair on his topline He has a long and angular face, as if a sled dog and collie were smooshed together He has dainty bones, thin legs, and slender feet. Not a heavy-bodied doggo Roughly 65 pounds and the height of a malamute but nowhere near as dense

Her name is Dobbie. We got her as a resuce about 11years ago. We think she is about 13 now. I've added pics with my cat and my male whippet for size reference. All these are pic are less than a year old.
