Not sure - it's possible but unless he has an allergy to bee stings, it's very unlikely he did.According to WPD super-mod, Tejmar, the video was posted a while back but removed since the guy survivedThe lethal dose of bee venom to kill a healthy adult is approximately 10 stings per pound - so for someone who weighs ~150 pounds, that would be about 1,500 stings. Unless they are Africanized, most types of bee wont sting en masse enough to kill even a small child. This dude clearly was not stung nearly that many times, a couple hundred at most. He is breathing in the video too - and is wearing what seems to be a hospital bracelet, meaning this is many hours afterwards.
This guy seems to have been stung enough to feel horrible - but
I thinkhe'll make it.I could be wrong though, specifically if he's even slightly allergic.Edit: guy survived. Was posted erroneously on WPD and removed for obvious reasons.

I first watched this on watch people die... so I’m pretty sure he is dead.
13
u/ZiggoCiP Sep 02 '18
When was this on there?
10
u/Reallycreativeuserna Sep 02 '18
Like a month ago?
15
u/ZiggoCiP Sep 03 '18
Just spoke to WPD mods - it was on there, but removed because reports came out he survived, as I anticipated.
He's not dead, in the video you can clearly see him breathing, which by this point he would have been if he was going to be.

Hes breathing in this video.
1
u/ZiggoCiP Sep 03 '18
I noticed that - hence why I'm extremely dubious about his 'death'.
I checked where this is cross posted from and that thread is even less sure. Again someone claims WPD hosted it a while back, but I'm still unsure.
Gonna go ask WPD talk now to get to the bottom of this.

u/Maximothewizard Sep 03 '18
it hasnt been on wpd

u/ZiggoCiP Sep 03 '18
Actually according to Tejmar it was, but removed due to the guy surviving. Seeing if we can't get the story now.

why would someone go out of their way to harm bees :(

Sep 03 '18
He doesn’t look like he’s all there. In the head, I mean.

u/Jrook Sep 03 '18
"lol how strange, yellow and black striped house flies! Why, holy shit... Omg it would be too funny to strike these while singing! Haha now I'll definitely get laid"
-3
u/LovableContrarian Sep 03 '18
I sorta doubt he harmed any bees by hitting a hive with an empty plastic bottle. Pissed em off tho

I usually don’t laugh at these, but as an entomologist this one made me chuckle hard.

The guy’s Chinese. Chinese people are renowned neither for a deep respect for nature nor for thinking through the consequences of potentially dangerous/stupid decisions. There was a woman a couple of years back who got out of a car in a tiger enclosure because she was pissed at her husband.

And people make fun of me when I unapologetically run away and scream like a little schoolgirl when I see anything small, flying, and with a hint of yellow.
They're all wasps to me, and they can all suffer. You shouldn"t have 3x my legs, plus a stinger, plus the ability to fly in the most erratic direction without any purpose (and attack me because I was threatening you. Bullshit.
And that doesn't even begin to address the ISIS of the insects. So, I walk outside my apartment, step onto my grass as a shortcut to my car, and you have the right to murder me? Fuck you, yellowjackets!!! ANNOUNCE YOURSELF!
Let's have a conversation, or may e a warning sign I can see before my first cup of coffee because I'm going to see that hole 0/10 times before I step on it. Then you sting, warn your buddies, and don't even die - just so you can scream again.
I saw two dragonflies boning outside my car window at a red light the other day. My gf makes fun of me because they're harmless. Fuck that mess. I rolled up my window as fast as possible, heart pumping out of my chest. The movements they made were not those of harmless insects. They were erratic death machines
I'm done for now bc going back to sleep. But until you wake up to wasps in your lampshade as you turn on the light, you have no right to judge my hatred for yellowish flying things.

Fun fax: they really are just wasps that learned to farm.
So I guess you could call those nomadic stinging bastards..... Beedouins

They always called it an allergy to bees, I’d probably have a reaction to honey bees as well I suppose. ..but wasps are much more aggressive and I’ve only ever been stung by them. I think the difference is wasps can bite and sting? I’m not sure but I’d be interested to know if there would be a different allergic response.
1
u/jtoppings95 Sep 03 '18
the allergic response when stung is in response to venom, the response when bitten is to whatever is in the wasps salive... so yea it could absolutely be two different allergies

When I was 5 we were playing a game in the woods and shaking trees, I shook a tree with a yellow jackets nest in it! I was stung about 20 times and this is when my parents found out I was allergic to bee stings. I was fine after a trip to the hospital but I hate those angry little yellow bastards to this day.
1
u/cd83 Sep 03 '18
This exact same thing happened to me, but I was 10 and was luckily not allergic. 22 stingers. We were hitting trees with sticks playing TMNT.
My friend actually hit the nest and took off running without saying anything. He got stung twice.
Yellow jackets are assholes.

Was posted but removed, since the guy survived. Just spoke to mods at WPD about it. Digging up the news story now.

Are you the type of cunt where you go bed every night knowing you’ll die alone and not a single person will care, or are the type of cunt that’s oblivious to those facts?
Reply however you will, it doesn’t matter. Just try not to forget that you’re a cunt that no one gives a shit about. See ya.
2
u/ZiggoCiP Sep 03 '18
hey, hey - don't get worked up now. guy's a bonified loser for sure, but is defnitely a troll.
giving them any sort of reply is what they want. Downvote - move on - maybe discourage others from feeding.
Oh yeah, also report the twat so we don't put up with that bull shit on this sub at least anymore.

I based my comment off your comment history. So by your words, it looks like your parties have constantly been in a bunch . Every day. Aka, you’re a cunt.

u/YerDamnRight Sep 07 '18
I like cunts, so I'm cool with that. You should probably take your tampon out before you get toxic shock. Nice or your husband to let you use his computer as well.

What was his end game, here? Was he anticipating a different response?
