Uber eats latest arrival time literally seconds off from DV.
A little bit of backstory: I ordered some drinks from 7-Eleven (6824 Forest Hill Ave) on Uber Eats. They were about $17 for 3 drinks and a bag of chips so i was already a bit thrown off but hey, that’s just regular delivery price hikes so i didn’t mind it.
it took an excruciatingly long time to arrive. The store got done wrapping my order up and was waiting for a courier. I was expecting it to get there in about 25 minutes like usual. The Latest Arrival time was 2:35 (just a fyi)
I ordered that at about 12:50 P.M and it didn’t arrive until “2:34 PM”. It was like literally when the alert showed he delivered it, it was literally 2:35. It musta been a second before he did it.
Me and my family were wondering what was taking so long, and the tracking shows he was at McDonald’s. Maybe he was getting an order” I thought, and he was sitting in the road for about the whole time.
It wasn’t until almost 2:25 that he started moving towards me and that’s how he got there a minute off.
I contacted support because the store also forgot my drink and the late order, that is listed above. Hopefully EmKay sees this and gets a laugh out of it.

Yeah I've given up on Uber eats after my order took about 1 hour to deliver and it was the wrong order entirely. Uber then refused to refund me through support with proof when I got someone else's order. Uber eats is their 3rd priority behind Uber rideshare, and squeezing money out of drivers and customers. I prefer doordash if I'm ordering something because it will actually get to you on time. Their deals are worse but compared to Uber orders either being wrong or only having half the items I ordered, while being 2 hours late I'm getting doordash. I've never actually had a problem with doordash other than getting a medium fry when it should have been large.
