Comedy What comes after Freeness?

Please, can someone explain the joke to me? It's likely something risqué based on the context I heard it, but I can't recall the punchline, nor do I get the joke.

Ok so the full thing is. What comes after freeness? Buddy.

So what does it mean. Chasing free things from certain people might have them expecting way more from you that you might not be willing to give.

Example young woman accepting gifts from a man thinking he's just a friend and not expexting it to go further than oh he's my friend. A knowing older woman might pull her aside and explain this saying to her.
