How much would you charge for something like this?

With all that tooling? $200 at the least.

Thanks for the feedback. Was kinda worried about that. I figure I have at least $150 in materials and well over 70 hours into it: all hand stitched, etc., no machines. It's going to be a loss for sure.

Please don’t take my word as the end all. In MY area, people don’t really pay top premium prices for handmade leather stuff. In your area? Maybe they might. What price were you thinking of trying to get out of it?

I think in most areas, folks compare to Walmart prices on what they can get. Two totally different products, but it is what it is. I can't mass produce this type of thing anyhow, so I'm not really looking for a large customer base, just those who like what they see and want something custom for themselves, like this customer.

100% dude. If they can get their hands on a Walmart pleather binder for $35, they’re going to go for it. Our clients aren’t those people, but finding them is the challenging part.
