u/camtberry, there weren't enough votes to determine the quality of your post...

yet they were fine when SCOTUS basically said Trump can do whatever the hell he wants as President without any consequences.

That's before he started messing with the moneh. Kicking them in the wallet seems to have dislodged their lips from his putrid posterior.

its always the case. His voters only cared about immigration and tariffs when it impacts directly. Also goes to show you what morons voters are. Trumps only "economic policy" was tariffs, which exactly what he did last time, and now they are upset he is actually doing it. This time, other countries are fighting back hard.

They’re waiting for their $5,000 DOGE check.

This is the stupidity of many voters. They all have this image in their head of how things will play out... so what is the issue with someone having unlimited power, right?

Well... some understand the problem immediately... others need to touch the hot stove...

u/BellyDancerEm 2d ago

Even then, many continue touching the hot stove gain and again and again

Be careful what you say. The Gazpacho might come and get you.

Obama didn't let Romney Win!

You are sadly correct... some individuals, despite going "ouch!" when touching the stove, for some reason still do not understand why the went "ouch!". But those are lost causes... nothing to be done there.

That hot stove was Biden’s fault!

And then press their face onto the hot stove just to be sure.

This is because fox news told them they were touching the hot stove wrong. Many segments declared how a hand burns but your face will not. Sean Hannity showed them, with a prop stove, how it didn't burn him. Then when some got burned they were convinced they did it wrong. After praying, they plan to try again later.

There… are… four… leopards….

Dude wasn't even a constitutionally valid candidate, should have been ruled ineligible to serve under the 14th amendment, but we have a compromised SCOTUS.

Not the renditions.

Not the kidnappings.

Not the gulags.

Not the shakedowns of the law firms.

Not the government threats against colleges and universities for improper ideology.

Not the woman-hating and woman-killing.

Not the overt, incessant, flaming bigotry and racism.

Not the gutting of public health and science.

But the tariffs — now those are really bad!

Can we count the mishandling of a pandemic where hundreds of thousands died because he wouldn’t endorse masks and vaccination?

I’m focusing on what would be actionable in court, since the OP is about a lawsuit filed by RWers and stuff they could have objected to and sued upon — but sure, why not?

Their wallet is their only measure of conscious.

No, it's not the tariffs per se. It's the stock market losses and now limited job opportunities that have them upset. If the tariffs were actually paid for by the exporting countries, as Trump seems to think, they would be just fine with them.

18

u/Strange_Dog6483 2d ago

They probably thought Obama & Biden were abusing the power of the executive branch.

11

u/ziggy029 2d ago

They should be suing Congress for dereliction of duty.

10

u/PolecatXOXO 2d ago

And that's exactly what the courts are gonna say. "You wanna fix this? Congress can do it in 30 seconds."

18

u/freethrowtommy 2d ago

This would be Trump's get out of jail free card.

His tariffs are ruled unconstitutional and rolled back rather than him looking like a little bitch and backing down.  Republicans save face by not having to do anything against Trump, he can continue to blame the courts for going against him, and his MAGA base falls back in line.

Stock market goes back up and all his cronies collect their insider trades.

18

u/Elementium 2d ago

Let's not get crazy with the stock market going back up lol..

The damage is done. Our allies are going to abandon us. You can't do business with a partner who is unstable and threatens you out of the blue.

u/Bigtimeknitter 2d ago

Conveniently NOW they care about the constitution

10

u/PropofolMargarita 2d ago

They're right. Only congress can impose tariffs, but Mike Johnson has completely abdicated his duty. He'd prefer a recession to any pushback against Trump.

6

u/LadySayoria 2d ago

Oh, NOW he is doing unconstitutional things?

6

u/Cosmicdusterian 2d ago

You mean they aren't buying the cult line that "things will get worse before they get better"?

Imagine running on that slogan. "Elect me America. On day one I will do everything in my power to ensure that you have cheap eggs and a thriving economy with my beautiful tariffs.

Day One - I don't care about the price of eggs.

Day 44 or so, "Things will have to get worse before they get better."

Bets on whether the get worse before they get better line is what this incompetent loser told investors and banks on the line for his products before they went under and he declared bankruptcy. Six times.

3

u/Miksidem 2d ago

They didn’t care back when he was saying he was going to do this kind of thing.  And now he’s doing it they want to cry.

u/ClaudetteLeon23 2d ago

😂😂😂😂😂😂

4

u/emccm 2d ago

Sometimes I wonder if I was the only one paying attention during the last election season. Well me and you guys. WTF was everyone else doing?

2

u/4thratedeck 2d ago

I feel like this is actually a fucked up simulation I'm being tortured in because there is no way this many people voted for him again

3

u/blackcain 2d ago

Looks like the DOJ has a new target.

3

u/ChocoCatastrophe 2d ago

Trump voters only ever cared about themselves. I mean they're literally saying empathy is bad.

2

u/Simsmommy1 2d ago

Ok but he ignores the judicial system anyway…it’s pointless. They need to do something a tad more….intense.

2

u/Secure-Corner-2096 2d ago

Can I be added to the lawsuit? Trump already admitted he deliberately crashed the economy. My pension is shrinking fast.

2

u/ACorania 1d ago

They seem to think that unconstitutional means 'thinga I don't like'

2

u/InfinityLord3392 1d ago

Oh so NOW it's a problem?

1

u/No-Signature-167 2d ago

Good luck!

1

u/First-Ad-7960 2d ago

Maybe they should call all the Representatives and Senators they own and tell them to do their damn job.

1

u/xxEmberBladesxx 2d ago

Hahahaha! The irony! 🤣🤣🤣

1

u/Salamander-7142S 2d ago

Watching the left sitting back and telling Maga to eat shit is my new favourite pastime.

1

u/Jayco424 2d ago

Cam you were right this is absolutely hilarious!!!

1

u/CCV21 2d ago

Any conservative group that is challenging anything now only ever cared about themselves.
