Libertarian argument against?Fired workers deserve benefits. Call your representatives
Simple. Basic. No arguments against, no matter what you argue or believe. Please, if you have any argument, I'm all ears.
A basic libertarian argument might say that the private sector would do a better job - non profits, cooperative organisations, etc - but starting in reality and dealing with reality, this is the truth and facts.
And we have to face it, like real people. Future perfect aside, how do we treat real people?

Ukraine, the free world and the new alignments
On behalf of America, I want to apologise to the Ukrainian people for the disgraceful bullying and betrayal by the dictatorial toddler in chief. I deeply hope that Europe will get it together quickly and make up for what you lose from America.
Anyone still confused: Trump has chosen to side with Putin, and most likely has been a Russian asset for a long time. Only this can explain a series of decisions from the dismantling of the CIA and exposure of names of spies to the dismantling of sanctions and foreign influence investigations to the treatment of Ukraine and NATO. You don't do everything on Putin's list unless you work for him.

Modern โlibertarianโ party in America.
Is anyone else totally disillusioned with the modern libertarian party. Especially with the way radical conservatives have seemed to taken the loudest voices in the party. After the recent election it seems some of the (not at all shockingly) have sided with Trump and Elon. Iโm 100% changing my party affiliation after this, want to know if Iโm alone in noticing this.

Got banned from two Leftist subreddits for pointing out they were agreeing with Trump
r/greenandpleasent r/socialism
On Green and pleasant I pointed out that they were cheering the peace talks in Saudi Arabia that excluded Ukraine entirely, when this was all due to trump and his policies. Banned
When I was on socialism they were arguing that the US had betrayed Ukraine as they had "predicted" they would. I pointed out that it only works if you think of the US government as an unchanging monolith, and not as one that has recently been taken over by a fascist clique. I was accused of liberalism. The final straw was when they were arguing that USAID being cut was a good thing. This one is a little more nuanced since it can be argued to be an extension of US soft power but still. Their evidence that the US was finding the BJP in India was an article in which the BJP complained about the US supporting regime change. I again pointed out they were agreeing with Trumps policies. Banned
I should be more surprised but I'm not. I need to make sure I just stick to libertarian left spaces where people can think on their own a little.

Question about "The Ecology of Freedom" (chapter 9 to be precise)
Hello! Today I read chapter 9 (Two Images of Technology) of The Ecology of Freedom. In the last part of the chapter, Bookchin lays down how he sees nature and its "laws". I'm doing this post just to see if I understood correctly
What I got is that Bookchin sees nature as intelligent and moved by an idea the same way that us people do. Humans is nature's intelligence manifesting itself to a higher level in a way mimicking the though that Hengel had by basically saying that his philosophy is the peak of philosophy's evolution (I know bookchin doesn't intend us to see humans as the peak of nature evolution cause that would nullify his whole message)
So, did I get it right? Did I misunderstand it? Also, if I got it right, it gives cosmic horror vibes in a way...if some of yall are writers you could use this idea

We complain that the 0.1% have all the money but who needs money when you are the 99.9%? We can do it with a couple coins. ๐๏ธ๐ช๐โ๏ธ
Look up the quote or don't even bother - it's a call to organise - not just in America but everywhere. We are the vast vast majority. It only takes a few coins & volunteers, cooperation, to win when we are the 99.99% and they are tools or whatever they are - we outnumber them & a cheap phone is all we need. โฎ๏ธโ๏ธ๐๐๐ช๐๏ธ
