Remember folks, "States Rights" are only important when we're trying to justify stripping away and restricting people's liberties... We absolutely do not intend for them to be used to expand liberty.

And States Rights only apply to Red states, and not Blue states.

Remember, whatever they claim as their justification is a lie.

“ It’s best to understand that fascists see hypocrisy as a virtue. It’s how they signal that the things they are doing to people were never meant to be equally applied. It’s not an inconsistency. It’s very consistent to the only true fascist value, which is domination. It’s very important to understand, fascists don’t just see hypocrisy as a necessary evil or an unintended side-effect. It’s the purpose. The ability to enjoy yourself the thing you’re able to deny others, because you dominate, is the whole point. For fascists, hypocrisy is a great virtue — the greatest.” a r moxon

“ Never believe that anti-Semites are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. The anti-Semites have the right to play. They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past.” Sartre

Same as it ever was.

Taken to its logical conclusion, if a state can use the 10th amendment to bypass a tariff, then we should be able to use the 9th amendment to do the same. The government has no right to stop me from trading with a willing participant, regardless of location.

From the state that decides what cars the whole country is allowed to buy, using regulation instead of tariffs. https://apnews.com/article/california-climate-vehicle-emissions-rules-b649b3fe05a97876a51b55a52af7ea1e

This is the soft power of being the largest market. Manufacturers choose not to make different cars for different markets... and it turns out consumers everywhere prefer cars that are more efficient and safer.

It's just the free market, hon.

You don't think any safety and pollution regulations should exist eh?

As long as there isn't special exceptions for loyalist ass kissers like with all Trump's laws, it's fine.
