I never worked on anything with any level of clearance and I know from watching TV that you neither even confirm or deny working on something secret because even that much would be providing information.

Search the company name, he does CGI work. Not really secret more like non-disclosure.

Not necessarily. Not sure about top secret projects but I know there are some simulators that are, at the very least, secret.
