Replacement Fender Neck?

Hey all. I have a '95 Fender American Standard Strat, I bought it in '97. I need to replace the neck(multiple issues). I'm hoping to replace it with a Fender neck. Is there anything I need to know about size, fitting, etc? It might be a noob question, but I'm a bit out of my wheelhouse with replacing a neck, and I don't want to buy something that won't fit because of differences in models or something.
Please help?

Just about any strat neck will fit as long as you dont get something totally abnormal

This is what I figured, but it's a hell of an investment to screw up lol.
Thanks for the quick answer. I appreciate it.

Be prepared for finessing! It's part of the process.

I'm expecting to have to do some adjusting/leveling/ect. I'm good with that, but I didn't want to run into a "wrong model/year, won't fit" situation.

From what I understand, you go closer to 50's spec, prepare for a very thin heel. Modern is a mm or two wider. Import is a crap shoot.
