Is there anything structurally wrong with it? Kinda hard to say from the picture.
But if it's just cosmetic, you could use a permanent marker of a similar shade to hide it. You can find a wide selection of those from an arts and crafts store.
Personally, if there's no structural damage, I would leave it as is. That's character!
