Advice Should the positional versatility play a factor in keeping a card?
Since there is no progressive stamina or any reason to change the lineup besides getting a better card, does it even matter when both of these cards are basically equal and not his best year anyway???

For additional context, I currently have Starlin Castro at 2B and want to replace him with Gleyber. So one of these I will combine for a new team sig with a Volpe dupe I have

Given the fielding is garbage on the multipositional one, I'd say it makes it expendable. Especially if you have a Volpe sig at SS already.

All things equal, I keep the card that's the better rated card for its position regardless of multi position. Both of these cards seem tough for me from a fld standpoint given both SS and 2B are high fld positions. I am a bit of a sig snob if I'm regularly buying sigs. I won't GI something that isn't in a tier where I think it's worth spending on a GI, pscts / uscts, greens and blues. For me that's a top 2 card per position with base stats sufficient to hold at a Diamond or better level. But it all depends on your spends and objectives for the team. I have pulled the same 67 base 1B on my alt 4x and I keep crafting it.
