Wholesome Moments Nicholas Winton helped 669 Jewish children escape the Nazis and his efforts went unrecognised for 50 years. Then, in 1988, while sitting as a member of a TV audience, he suddenly found himself surrounded by the kids he had rescued, who were now adults.

Remember this when you see Elon give that salute.

Elon is a self-described philosemite. For crying out loud, he visited Auschwitz with Ben Shapiro last year!

Imagine the kind of person who can visit Auschwitz and still do a Sieg Heil after.

"feign outrage over a misinterpreted gesture"

Even if we can pretend that Elon was just being unfairly targeted, try to defend Bannon doing the salute.
If you can defend even Bannon, then you are the actual problem.
If you cannot defend him, then the Trump administration has an actual openly nazi inside.

DW fam, you have said the actual truth

Elon's TOTALLY not a Nazi. And that TOTALLY wasn't a Sieg Heil.

Elon's just agreeing with someone that believes "Hitler was right," did a "misinterpreted" Nazi salute on stage, and supported people like the AfD. None of that says "Nazi" to me.

He's misunderstood.

How can anyone see him do that salute and see the pure ecstasy on his face as he does it, how can you possibly deny it. How cany anyone deny what their own eyes have seen? It does not make sense to me...

And yet despite it NOT? being a nazi salutes, Bannon repeated it. And if you or I did that and were innocent what's the first thing you would do? ...you would explain that it wasn't.... be got silence. I call a spade a spade.
