I'm one of those Americans that loves learning about other cultures and am almost too inquisitive. Three weeks in France and everyone we met was incredibly welcoming. I dressed like they dress, not like how I dress down here in Florida during summer. You have to respect people in their countries and not come off as some dim-witted asshole from America. We get a bad name overseas because so many Americans visit just for the sights and not the whole cultural experience. Almost every country on this planet is older than the US and it's about time we get over ourselves.

Maybe we don't need to get over ourselves because we're the best country ever
