Never ever do a jumping exercise onto something that isn't firmly bolted to the ground, or at the very least weighed down with more than 2x your weight. And even then, this is just a shitty exercise, there are way better ways to accomplish the same thing without nearly as much risk of injury.
And also be very careful about exercising on an injury like that... I'd only do that under the supervision of a physical therapist, and never with a personal trainer.
Am I missing something in the video that indicates there’s a personal trainer involved? It looks like she’s just in a normal CrossFit gym. You’re allowed to do open workouts.
Lmao no personal trainer would tell someone to box jump at that height and that weight. Maybe sue the friend holding the camera? Oh wait that’s just as silly
Ok as someone who actually has done a fair bit of CrossFit, unlike pretty much everyone else on the hate train in here, this is 100% not the work of a coach.
She is trying to jump 30”. Women at RX (ie high level) are to jump 20”. She practically falls on the box. Men RX is 24”. In three years I have literally only once been asked to do a tall jump, ie men did 30” and women 24”.
