I think it's a great sign of your parenting that at 18, not only did he do a stand up job of organising this, but also that he was so happy to share the experience with you. So yeah. Well done on life.

We had an amazing time! He really did a great job navigating us through airports, train stations, and throughout the cities!

It sucks that I know exactly which post it was. Hope you both enjoy the memories. Travel is the best way to open one’s mind, so you’re doing a good thing for your son.

I didn’t see the nasty comments, I just saw the pictures and the context OP provided and 2+2

Thank you. I really noticed him become more comfortable taking initiative and trusting his instinct. He was super appreciative and kept his cool even when I was stressing a lot. Most of all he really learned how important it is to respect other cultures and make an effort to be kind to others, we have so many new inside jokes now too!

From experience, Asia takes that and multiplies it by 100. Vietnam, for example, was really eye opening my first time. It made me the minority for once which was a humbling experience.
Keep up the good work!

Why would someone be mean because of a few pretty landmark photographs?
People on the internet....
It looks like you had fun, hope you'll have plenty more such trips with your son!

Sorry for misspelling it and adding the extra T

You spell it right. I'm just lazy with the T. Hahaha. Great place btw. Only bought a fridge magnet, salt and a piggy bank there. Hehehe. Feeding goose was fun though.
