u/vrbobde Oct 18 '18
I guess u should tweet her and ask and let us know

u/DisparityByDesign Oct 18 '18
Considering the fact that I've seen 5 different variations of this 'joke' over the past few weeks I doubt you'll get a real answer.
12
u/Magicman_22 Oct 18 '18
so you mean to tell me someone stole a joke? and put it on twitter? and made it seem like it was their own? ridiculous!
13
Oct 18 '18
Don't even have to tweet her, last time I saw this reposted she was in the comments here on reddit. Pretty sure her username is the same as her twitter iirc

Sadly you could probably find her 11 year old sister via her social media handle that this post very publicly shows. Nice going reddit.

Nah, I looked through her comments. All students got a raise in fall, so technically yes is what she said.

It’s nice to be so loved. What a thoughtful way to express her affection for you.

u/etymologynerd Oct 18 '18
Maybe she's trying to annoy HR enough that they fire her

I was thinking she was going for a “See? I got you a raise, now buy me things” type situation. I could see young me following this logic.

u/canadarepubliclives Oct 18 '18
It's going to be an awkward conversation with her sister when she explains she got fired because corporate overlord didn't like that

u/IllusiveLighter Oct 18 '18
You can't get fired for that. Well you could, but then you get to sue the shit out of them.

My little sister was a lazy little bitch, anytime we had work to do she would get out of it. I love her now though.

I'm so glad we didn't have social media as teenagers, my brothers and I would have gotten each other fired from every part time job we ever had posting shit on their companies pages.
32
u/really_bitch_ Oct 18 '18
One I got fired from a shitty part time job bc I was too sick to come in (they called me back and fired me over voicemail, it was not a good workplace). The next day my little sister went in and ran them ragged around the store saying she's had all this stuff on hold and wanted to spend all this money and that if I were there I would know how to give good customer service and demanding to know when I'd be there to take care of her and when they said I was fired she just left. When she told me I was like, damn, thanks.

Andy Dufresne wrote two letters a week to the national library each day for over two years, and they gave him a substantial payout... keep it up!

Why not? I had MSN when I was 9, in the year 2000. It's just how kids communicate.

There Is nothing in this post that suggests anything other than OP sharing a picture of a nice story. Didnt claim it was their own sister.

Maybe you could help her out. You seem to have plenty to spare, throwing around extra commas like that.

Yeah? Well my baby brother performed a wage survey and encouraged me to quit my job once he discovered I was underpaid.

SLPT: Want a raise? Create an account for your fake younger sibling. Use that account to harass your boss and company into giving you a raise.

“Sheesh that’s awful... just awful... tell ya what: I’ll continue to do my job, and you give me a raise, and she leaves you guys alone.”
