That is a super fun reaction. Sad part is the game has not aged well at all. I had a chance to do four player split screen last year, and I can barely believe I used to think the game was not only playable but amazing.

There is a source engine version on PC which is not bad.

The mapping of the controls is very different from a modern first person shooter, and the framerate can be very rough.

However, everything about the experience will be made much worse than it would have been back in the day if you are using a bad caler/signal converter (and most of them on the market are bad) and if you are playing on a tv that has a lot of latency.

The visuals from N64 games also tend to look much better on CRTs vs scaled to modern displays.
