My dad hates losing and will happily beat his children in video games to prove “adults are better than kids” at gaming.

It didn’t take very long for me to prove him otherwise when I was 7-8 in multiplayer. Kids learn how to play games fast.

Case in point, I’m now 28 and believe kids ruin multiplayer games. I say it’s because they’re toxic but it’s mostly because they’re better than me.

Oh yeah man, I've been gaming my entire life and I'm now almost 40.

Yeah, I'm still pretty good and I made champ in Rocket League... but fuck me I am very aware that even with 3000+ hours I'm total shite compared to the kids.

Oh yeah mate, experience can count for a lot.

What's funny is I still (try) to play football (soccer to you probably) at least twice a week and have done for decades with the same group.

On occasion, we've had a game against an outside group which are nearly always half our age. Yeah, we win some and lose some, but we always surprise them and give them a tough game.
