This was incredibly hard for me because I rarely leave the house, let alone talk to strangers. But I my local historic town was doing a festival for authors and a local butcher shop sponsored me. I got a quiet corner, and I faced my fears.
Did I shut down when people talked to me, yes. But I got through it and I talked to people and it was all okay.

you guys seemed to like the photos I took of my wife trying on a dress. Here she is returning home after wearing that dress at her film premier. Our dog is the best. We both missed her like crazy.

So I've had a goal for a really long time to get really good at something, but I've struggled with chronic burnout and exhaustion. Because of that I tend to start something and then struggle to do the work because I'm just so burnt out. So I just told my coach last night that I think I have to quit because I couldn't get myself to do the work and didn't want to waste their time.
This was his response.

I don't think I've ever received such kindness from someone before. I'm blown away! Also, "we" includes his wife who works alongside him.

People like this 100% make me smile! We need more people in the world like him and his wife.

I cleaned this place up back in January. Despite what people have said, it has remained clean for 3 months now. At times I will have failures, but I will also have successes like this. This is why I never give up.
