They're more expensive but it's hard to eat more than a couple pieces of dark chocolate 90+%. I've been doing that the last 8 months as my regular sweet.
15 u/seanarturo Aug 23 '19 Yup. And it effectively reduces your caloric intake just because you're eating less that way, too. 3 u/MalHeartsNutmeg Aug 23 '19 I feel like eating 90% just ruins the point of eating chocolate. 2 u/caponenz Aug 23 '19 I wish I had this hardship. I can easily eat a whole block of dark chocolate 1 u/OlbapNamles Aug 23 '19 I love dark chocolate, but how does that replace sweet cravings? Dark chocolate is nowhere near sweet 1 u/MyDogsNameIsBadger Aug 23 '19 Depends on how dark. If you are cutting out sugar, believe me, it tastes sweet. 1 u/OlbapNamles Aug 23 '19 I guess i just have too much of a sweet taste to ever completely cut sugar best i currently do is just get a treat once a week 1 u/MyDogsNameIsBadger Aug 23 '19 But that’s great! You seem have great self control. It’s definitely brutal. 1 u/farqueue2 Aug 23 '19 try 95%. It's hard to eat 1 piece. 1 u/ebobbumman Aug 23 '19 Yeah I actually just bought a 95%. I like the 90% more and I only eat a piece or 2 at a time so I'll probably just end up sticking with that. 1 u/Klowned Aug 23 '19 And don't forget about the PEA in dark chocolate. Phenylethylamine
