Mixer power supply issue

Hi, I’ve run into a problem with the power supply unit that was supposed to fit my mixer. The supply is for a four-pin socket, and mine has three pins. My regular repairs guy says replacing the connector with a 3-pin equivalent wouldn’t present a problem. However, there are no markings on the mixer, so he doesn’t know the correct pinout. Is there any common standard for 3-pin power supply sockets?

He'll have to take a look inside the mixer to know which pin is which. As long as the power supply voltage is correct and can supply enough current, it will present no problem. So long as the third pin isn't used for some proprietary purpose by the mixer manufacturer (unlikely).
