Question ❓ Hoor Al Ayn in Jannah and their implication.
As‑salāmu ʿalaykum,
Recently I’ve been wrestling with my īmān over the concept of ḥūr al‑ʿayn in Jannah. From a logical standpoint it feels unbalanced. We’re taught that, in Paradise, both men and women will receive everything they desire—fine clothing, exquisite food and drink, and complete contentment. Jealousy will be removed from hearts, so a woman won’t feel hurt if her husband is granted ḥūr.
Still, when I look at the descriptions, it seems that Allah places special emphasis on men’s sexual pleasure, while women appear to receive no equivalent, even though intimacy is a right shared by both spouses in this life. In other words, men seem to have an “extra” reward that women do not, and that disparity is what’s troubling me.
I know we shouldn’t obsess over the exact nature of Paradise, but I feel this is an important topic to explore and understand.

Ultimately, the only statement that suffices for Jannah is that, "You will have whatever you desire." Going into these intricacies is pointless and problematic.
Your statement of "men seemingly have extra reward" is respectfully false since the level of rewards will depend on everyone's ranking in Jannah. It is narrated that even the lowest man in Jannah will get hurs, so ofc if women in higher levels will have a larger reward, hurs can't be an extra reward for man solely if it's being rewarded to the lowest rank.
Also, it's not like women won't be denied sexual pleasure. It's narrated that women in Jannah will desire only their husbands and lower their gaze from other men. Yani if women in Jannah will be more than happy with this situation then why do we on this Earth have a problem with it?

that's actually a really good point, not sure why I didn't think about it like that, Jazakallah appreciate it.

well, its like telling a boy ur gonna buy hi a football. now does that mean that girls dont like footballs, or if a girl wants one she wont get one if she does the same good work as the boy? no. its bc on average most men tend to get more sexual desires, so this is a form of motivation, just like on average most boys tend to enjoy football more.
take in mind nowhere does it say hoor are only women btw

That is an interesting perspective, but if you were to read the Hadiths regarding them it becomes evident that they’re aren’t exactly “female” or “women”, they’re described as being transparent beings which already raises alot of questions about how exactly is “attraction” gonna work in Jannah, but that aside, if you read some other Hadiths you’ll quickly realise that they’re described for men only, and in a feminine sense, such as singing for their husbands, and being married to them.
