I second that. They are absolutely stunning. I can't understand how anyone can have the fine motor skills to be able to paint these 😱 I will never be able to find a nail tech who can do this where I live.

I’m not even into nails and have no idea why this sub comes up for me. But I am obsessed, these are so beautiful. The bunny!

These are stunning!
How long does it even take to paint a set like this?!

Thank you! Honestly, I didn’t keep track of exact times 😅 but it was over the course of 3 days which included removal, applying new extensions and painting!

What type of brush do you use to make these intricate designs? They’re flawless! 💙

As the original artist, you should be allowed to copyright these designs so you could sell them to the big press on companies if you wanted to. I would totally buy these at a premium price! Gorgeous 😍

Are they press on nails? Can I ask what brand you use?

u/callicatty Mar 02 '25
I used Makartt almond full cover tips (with the Beetles nail glue, that you cure w/ a UV lamp) and all the designs are hand painted gel 💙

SCREAM these are so beautiful holy fuuuuuuuck you’re incredible these are incredible literally all of it is so immaculate and perfect. Not even exaggerating these are worthy of being in a museum art collection and Delftware pages and forums and such as a modern tribute honouring the art. I’m gonna lose my mind about these for the next three months minimum

Could you share links on brushes and polishes used for the designs?? They’re AMAZING I can’t ever find brushes fine enough for this level of detail

u/callicatty Mar 04 '25
Here’s some of the links! -the white polish was from Beetles, but I don’t have a link since I bought it years ago -the pinky/nude base color for the French tips was by the brand MEMEDA on Amazon, but again couldn’t find the link :( -Jelly blue polish (shading) - https://a.co/d/d06JLUU -Dark blue (the exact color was a mini in a beetles set so I’m not sure the actual shade name but this looks like the right one!) - https://a.co/d/iIoDpw4 -Brushes (I used the 5mm) - https://a.co/d/6x4IgM0

Did you do this on yourself?!?! If so being able to paint like this with your non dominant hand is most impressive.
