I used to live in Bali and the girls who did my nails for years never cut me up. I’ve moved back to the US a couple years ago and get structure gel (just cut all my nails off to start over so they’re short now) and I’ve been to 3 different people, all more than once, and they all seriously cut up my skin. It’s so painful when I shower in hot water or cook on the stove and steam hits it. Is this just how it’s done in the US and I should expect it?

I saw this photo on Pinterest and I’m obsessed with the color. Of course no one put the swatch color or name. If anyone knows this color or one like it please share!

I am usually a pretty simple nail girl but I let my nail tech inspire me to go for something fun.

Just did these, still need to file them but should I leave them or do I add glitter/nail art?? I kinda like them but also need a little something extra ☺️💖💅🏼

First time in months choosing something different than cat eye or glass nails, feeling weird but happy with the result.

I love the idea of acrylics and I love nail art, but unfortunately I can't have them because I play violin. I like to have something on my nails because I have always been a nail biter, so I usually just paint my nails with one color or use gel strips. I really want to try press-ons but I need to keep my nails fairly short; definitely nothing past my fingertips. Any advice?

I have quite bad damage to my thumbnails due to picking and biting nails/skin around the nails. I’m very embarrassed by my thumbnails but have now seen online you can get ridge filler nail polish?
Does anyone have recommendations as there’s mixed reviews of quite a few online?
