Real curious about this. I've been seeing so many different price ranges for nails and I find it very interesting to see how much it varies depending on where you live.
For instance, these two sets I got were somewhere around 28$ each (i live in Eastern Europe).

no shade to the nail tech, but i went in for a gel polish change pedicure that i was told otp by the receptionist would cost ~$50-55, the fill is usually around $45 with no designs, but given she filed the shape and whatnot i was expecting it to be around $65 for the acrylics.
overall, was told the total was $159 and was absolutely shocked!! not only have never i spent 4.5 hours getting my nails done EVER- i have also never spent that much on an acrylic fill with design + pedi combo.
also, this was a nail franchise so no shade to a direct person and i do love the look!!

Not typically a purple gal but this color caught my eye!👁️ Beetles brand and used the magnet down each side and then across the tip. Looks amazing, to me, for a second try! Thoughts? Tips? Tricks? Brands to try? Let me know! I’m also growing out builder gel so I can have natural nails again. I think I did an ok job e-filing it down to a natural nail shape.

Doing your own nails is either 2 hrs or 5, with coffee break in between. Gel mani with cateye and chrome art. Using Izemi base/top with Cleto fine cateye.

I’ve been doing biab for a year now but I constantly have problems with it lifting after the about a week and a half.
I do occasionally do polygel (only when I’m in a country that doesn’t really have biab) which I know makes me more susceptible to lifting. But besides that, is there anything I can do to help the lifting?
I usually get my nails done every three to four weeks, which consists of a Russian manicure, infill, and no gel polish top. My nails are also fairly long, coming about 1cm from the tip of my fingers. I’d post a photo but I’m due for an infill and they are looking pretty rough.

me & my nail tech decided last week that we should give gel x a try for my nail tips.
(because i been using structure gel on my nails. and even tho it helped me when accidents happened to protect my nails, it caused me great pain and doesnt protect my nails from breaking off when im trying to grow them back out. i needed a new method & she told me gel x would help when my nails are longer.)
BUT we switched to gel x & she told me that she didnt feel comfortable removing it herself and id like to know how i can do it myself (if possible)? i would go to one of the many bad salons in my town, but they dont gels outside of polish here. YES ive asked them in the past if they knew how to remove them; they dont know how.

Hey so I got some artificial nails, like the ones you apply at home. I love soft pinks/rose gold colours but I also wonder if these are too girly/too young for me (25 f)?
What’s your thoughts?

Last time I got my nails done was back in 2021. And this time it’s my actual nails! 💕

I started doing gel back in January and haven’t looked back. Still learning how to pose a hand for photos so ignore the claw! Any pointers are appreciated

Not sure if im getting
Hello!! I recently bought a couple DVOK polishes to do my nails at home for the first time. Last night I used the Enamel Top Coat to re-cover the underside of one nail on my current salon GelX set. I cured for 120 seconds because I’ve never done my own gel before, but I’ve noticed that the nail still smells really strongly of resin.
Just wanted to check if this was normal?
