Advice Request How do I develop better sleep hygiene?
I don’t know where to start. I sleep at around 10pm and wake up for work at 7am. Do I maintain this on the weekends too? Can I sleep in? What do you guys do?

I finally tried going to sleep at the same time on weekends too and it’s helped a lot. I honestly didn’t think it’d work but it did. I was always a night owl but I feel so much better that I haven’t really missed it.
Sleep around 10pm-6:30 for me. I do sleep in on weekends though I keep my regular morning alarm on. It’s also been easier to take the 2nd dose of Xyrem on time more consistently.

How much do you sleep in on the weekends? I find not sleeping in to be the most difficult. It’s great to hear you’re are feeling better with the consistency! That’s motivating!

Unfortunately with sleep disorders consistency is super important. With that being said its also not realistic all the time to do that all the time. I have type 2 narcolepsy so i do my best to go to bed at 11pm and wake up between 7 and 8am But some days depending on how i feel i will adjust it by an hour but i try not to go over an hour otherwise i feel it too much the next day. You just gotta be strategic about it and know what you got going on the next day and how it affects you
