Best Find?
Some would say that the lead cross was the best “find” during 12 years of can slamming on OI. I, on the other hand, would put forward that the best find was the broken Cap Gun that was the presented to Ricky Restall. The emotion of that presentation was epic and unforgettable.

I like to think the best find was that time they found all that pirate treasure back in season 4, ... or maybe it was season 2?

This is a really tough call. On the one hand, you have the crazy, surreal scene with retired Postal worker Rick Lagina and Happy Jack presenting the cap gun to Ricky Restall in front of the restored Restall shack with Lee “Nosferata” Lamb looking on. The cap gun is so important in that scene that it transcends its status as a prop to become an actual character in the story. The lead cross on the other hand, has probably been mentioned more than any other real artifact, and has its own laser ablation animation. And then there’s the 90 ft stone, which has probably been mentioned as often, but is a complete fabrication to boot, which is huge. Taking all that into account, I have to go with the 90 ft stone as best “find”, precisely because there is no “find”, just pure BS.

The show really hasn’t provided anything exciting. Curiosity, yes, exciting, no. I think the most intriguing items were all the structures in the swamp.

Cap gun was emotional, Cross was exciting, coins very cool, but don't prove anything as anyone today can buy and drop the exact coins in a city park.
Most interesting find was that huge rock that had a sonic drill hole thru it.
