I hate that all of my comments in this sub are the same advice because it makes me sound like a fitness freak but
Exercise.
Run up and down the stairs. Do weights or press-ups or planking. Follow a youtube dance workout.
Tire yourself out.

personally i have been using this app to help me sleep: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rainsounds.sleep.pk&hl=en
i try to relax and it helps sometimes to focus on other stuff.

Day 1 of my period, it’s impossible for me to sleep because the cramps are too bad. It’s like gallbladder pain but in my uterus.
If I can’t sleep in general, I put on the Bob Ross channel on my Roku and drink some chamomile tea

This is very common. I take melatonin and magnesium 3 hours before bed, and then I also have a sedative prescription medication that I take at bed time. but that’s been needed after many years of insomnia. before going for anything stronger, I’d definitely try magnesium glycine 200-400mg a few hours before bed, and keep trying the melatonin, only a small dose like 1mg is needed. Also keep your room cool and dark, use an eye pack and ear plugs if you need, and play calming white noise / rain sounds / affirmations or anything you like while you lay in bed and try and sleep. If you can’t sleep get up and do something to take your mind off of it and return to bed when you feel relaxed and not stressed abt not sleeping

Magnesium glycinate an hour before bed. Full effects can take weeks but light effects start immediately.
Don’t scroll your phone in bed

Lord have mercy if I had the answer. I can usually fall asleep… after a long time. But then I will wake up at 2-3am and toss and turn until I get up.
I’ve been doing magnesium glycinate. Just started so unsure if it’s doing anything yet.
Look up the Nothing Much Happens podcast. This woman tells a story in a relaxing voice and it distracts your brain. Give it a shot!
