General Is it wise to do an interview during luteal phase? ๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ˜‚

I find that during my luteal phase I am overly passionate and intense, I tell myself this is a good thing for job interviews but it doesnโ€™t seem to workโ€ฆ

Am I right in thinking I should hold off on it and reschedule it for after my period ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’€ us PMDD girlies are a special โœจcase after allโ€ฆ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Honestly sometimes luteal hits right, when we can be brutally honest and say whats on our mind. You might be more willing to take no shit, seem confident and assertive, and ask the right questions. Personally I'd rather go for ovulation or follicular bc that's when I'm most personable and outgoing. But depends on the interview I guess. Good luck!ย

Iโ€™ve had to do this just because those were the dates offered to me. In the week leading up to it I hunkered down with sleep, extra hydration, no alcohol, daily walks, good diet, no other distractions, doing loads of prep. I had a toxic job at the time and reeeally needed out asap ๐Ÿ˜…

As well as my usual SSRIs and supplements, I took beta blockers daily for a few days leading up to the interview (so they were in my system) and on the day of the interview. These helped me to feel calm and settled in my body.

Itโ€™s shit that we have all this extra stuff to deal with on top of normal interview prep! I wouldnโ€™t blame you for rescheduling if itโ€™s possible, but equally I believe in you, and if the jobโ€™s right for you, you will get it no matter what time of month it is :)

I cried in one of my interviews due to this so yes ๐Ÿ˜‚ itโ€™s definitely a threat! Steer clear of charity roles if youโ€™re not looking for an academy award for best drama ๐Ÿ˜‚
