Been working on an Uplifting Trance Remix of Chicane - Don't Give Up ft Bryan Adams.
Just did a quick final mix down following some YouTube tutorials and what sounded alright to me.
Deconstructed the actual song melodies, bass line etc and used melodyne to held pick out some notes where i had trouble.
Used:
Leads, plucks, instruments all Serum
Samples for kick and drums and put them together
Basic EQ using pro q and reaq
Nothing too crazy as im still in the process of learning, however this is my first ever remix.

This is a súper short simple Metal track where I was experimenting with pitch shifters and super low tunings. Maybe I’ll try turn it into a full song.
Gear used, Jazzmaster Baritone, Jackson bass, tonex pedal, focusrite scarlett, Reaper EQ, IK Saturator X and Ozone.

A song I started two days ago. I had a lyric laying around which I wanted to use. Some plugins are Reaper stock plugins (comp an eq). On some tracks I used a free channelstrip, OldSchoolReverb from Voxengo, and Pulse ir loader for the guitar tracks (DI out from my THR100 amp head). The clean guitar and one of the melody guitars is a Bogren AmpKnob.
I will probably do some cleanup and I'm thinking about replacing the end solo.
I also have my doubts about the timing of the vocals. It's a bit too laid back here and there, do it's dragging.A Haze of Colors

I think this sounds great and I like the hazy feel of the guitars which enforce the theme of the song. Only question I have is whether you need the drums mixed so high, I think they could be a little lower in the mix to let the guitars shine through more. But this may be a consequence of rendering, as I have recently discovered a mix in Reaper doesn’t always sound like the render.
