That's a good rant, but the chart shows the relative relationship between a drug's effective and lethal doses. The drugs at the top of the chart can, therefore, be considered safer to use than those at the bottom. I shared it in this subreddit because I thought members would find the comparative safety of psilocybin interesting, at least in terms of dosage.

Hello. I believe you are miss-reading the chart. I also did at first glance. Alcohol is not considered “very non toxic” on the chart. I assume you are looking at the colour. The colour (green) is referring to the drug schedule Eg. “Unscheduled, legal over the counter”. Whereas the size of the bar references to the top scale of “approaching poison” which it sounds like where you agree alcohol to be. And the irony that the chart is pointing out here about Psilocybin being “very non toxic” but a “schedule 1”.

For a less confusing chart they should not have used the same colours for both scales.
