Retro pie stuck in kid mode

My friend was messing with the setting and put it into kid mode and now I can't get out even if I restart the system .... Their is no games or setting in kid mode... I tried the komami code with my 8bitdo arcade stick but nothing ... Can someone help please

If you can access the files, you need to go to /home/pi/.emulationstation/es_settings.cfg

And edit the UI MODE value to be FULL instead of whatever it's set to.

When I first got a Pi, I accidently set it to Kiosk mode, and it took me a while to figure out how to undo it.

Their is no setting in the menu

If you don't have it to where you can access the files remotely you may have to take the SD card out and try it from a computer.

its no menu, its like a text file. you need to close emulatation station, edit the value and restart it.
