It’s only really males between the ages of 16-45, which is more like 3-4% of the entire US population. So in reality it’s 4% commit over half of the violent crime

I believe in law and order and that anyone who commits crimes should be arrested and trialed. I judge people by the content of the character not the color of their skin; and I believe poverty is the main underlying factor In non-white collar crime in general. My issue is that most of the comments are ignorant enough to blame race as the underlying problem.

The point is that if the roles were reversed and the perpetrators were white, these would all be major news stories.

Would they? Do you think historically white on black crime has been overblown? Why was Tulsa not common knowledge till a couple of years ago? Just because things aren't overlooked as often as they once were doesn't justify overlooking them now regardless of race...

Like I said, anyone who is willing to do the slightest amount of unbiased research will see that violent crime in general is a poverty problem and is done by younger people (most people "age out" of violent crime)
