Discussion Podcast recommendation (non-SCP but similar vibes)

Been listening to “The White Vault” podcast, it’s an awesome audio drama/horror with super good sound engineering that feels immersive. The story is told through documentation left behind by a crew of arctic research station repair techs, which reminds me of SCP style article addenda. https://thewhitevault.com/ kind of a “The Thing” crossed with SCP style documentation.

if you want a dose of serious discussion on high strangeness, also try Mysterious Universe

I am a huge fan of WTNV, haven’t caught up on new episodes since like 2019. Loved the books too. Will try to remember to catch up on the episodes I missed. Haven’t heard of Mysterious Universe, thanks for the recommendation!

The Magnus Archives is a favourite of mine, and quite similar to certain parts of the wiki (to the level that I quite enjoy syncretising the two).

If you enjoy media that has mystery, lore being pieced together, monsters, supernatural items that are inherently dangerous, and cosmic/eldritch horror, it's for you.

Absolutely! Love the Magnus Archives. If people like the SCP article about the bone hive (early one from the 100’s numbers I believe) they should check out Magnus Archives.

Hymns For the Road and Find Us Alive (The latter is explicitly SCP related but yeah)
