Any thoughts on this?
Hi all, My father in law was given this bottle as a gift many years ago and didn’t think of it anything. Whilst having a drink with him and looking through his collection of bottles (he has a mix of different spirits) I have found this, only caught my eye because of the Glenfiddich name on it.
I know it’s technically not scotch but given that it was made from one I wanted to know if anyone has tried this liqueur? And if it’s any good?

Think I've tried it and (if it's the same) loved it. It's not whisky though

I've never been a fan of whisky liqueur, so I would not open the bottle. Especially this one. It's a collectable, at least in Europe it is. It was discontinued around 2011. Not highly sought after, but sought non the less. The right buyer would lay down a good buck for the bang. At least in Europe

Thank you, I told my father in law to keep it although he wanted to open it. So I told him to open whenever there’s a special occasion.

This was my grandads favourite pour and I used to enjoy a dram of it occasionally with him. It was discontinued in around 2010-2011. Last year I paid a ridiculous price for a bottle to have in my collection as a way of remembering him. Haven’t had a dram for a while, however it’s one of the richest liqueurs I’ve ever had. Creamy, spicy honey. Highly recommend having a dram where possible.
