And by the same token, only one degree was really given. It's not like they could take separate classes. Maybe they should have had to pay a fee for teachers grading two papers or whatever, but it's really only one degree since it has to be all of the same classes and only taking up one seat.
And by the same token, only one degree was really given.
I am only speculating, but I am sure they could have opted to only enroll one of them. But I assume they both wanted their own degree, even knowing it would be essentially useless.
Also possible they had scholarships and didn't even pay for college.
Yeah, I am thinking the same thing. Someone along the way paid for their college, I'm sure. And yes, they probably both wanted the degree. It makes sense. If I have to sit in class and do all of the work, I want my name on a degree.
I think the issue here is that they want to be treated as individuals and equals as much as possible. I’m sure if they wanted to, they could’ve had one of them be officially enrolled and just done it together. They only had to pay for one set of books and supplies anyway. But this could create a power imbalance between the two if only one had a degree and technically only one had the job.
The only people I see complaining about this is other people. I’m sure if they wanted/needed help or felt slighted by it they would be more outspoken about it.
Yup and they both majored in different fields at the time. Even 1 student would pay for 2 different majors so this post doesn't making any fucking sense.
