Thanks! Villagers are similar to Humans with a few cultural differences and Pillagers are a brutish race wanting to reach immortality and conquer the End, Overworld and the Nether, believing they are the superior species. I have the the art done, I just need to finish the descriptions

The creaking appears to be more of an extension of the pale oak to offer protection against Illagers rather than a man-made construction. Could also be that the pale oak itself was a creation of the Illagers and the creaking was their attempt at a warden

This reminds me a lot of @illwilledomen on twitter, was this inspired by them?

Yes and no? I do follow them and love their work, but this was thought of while I was watching Game theories mincraft lore video's and also, I think their lore's different? Steve and Alex are robots built by someone, I think, the ancient builders? Also, if I'm remembering correctly, I don't think their Endermen are related to the human. So maybe if there's any similarities, it's probably my subconscious, lol.

No problem! I get them from [here!](https://www.oakton.edu/user/3/gherrera/Greek%20and%20Latin%20Roots%20in%20English/greek_and_latin_roots.pdf) and [here!](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Latin_words_with_English_derivatives)
(hopefully the hyperlinks work)
Edit: they did not :[

I tried to keep these short and simple so any questions, please ask them!
P.L.A.Y.E.R
The resurrected dead bodies of ancient ‘builders’ from centuries ago, by the Illagers. The PLAYERs,were experiments by the Illagers to grant them eternal life, these worked with some moderate success. Alex (the one shown above) is one of nine successful experiments and the oldest being 138 only counting living years(27 when she passed and 111 years being resurrected), 1,638 years in total. PLAYERs on average are pretty expressionless, moving like zombies in a way, and Alex is no exception. When given a chance Alex is a kind and thoughtful soul, protecting the villages she comes by, from Illiagers and her zombie kin. THe Pillagers tried to keep Alex and the other PLAYERS in cells, to be watched, but they could easily break the wood and steel confines of their cells.
Ender folk
Descendants of the ancient ‘builders’ trapped in the End dimension, the Ender folk, or Tenuanthropus sapiens, are the only natural humans left in the overworld. Coming from a place with very little biomass, they are fully frugivorous, eating the most common fruit there, the Chorus Fruit. These fruits let them teleport, making traversal through the end islands easier. Chorus Fruit gives them their bright purple eyes and innards. Their eyes, upon death, will change to a greenish colour. Since the End has less gravity than the overworld, they are around 9-10 feet tall and a lot more slender, almost looking sickly. With the lack of light in the end, it is unknown why their skin is so melanated. In an environment like this, their skin should be pale. Ender folk also have strange, tribal-like markings all over their bodies, however, they are actual patterns on their bodies.
When occurring on the overworld, they have difficulty standing, opting to sit to do their daily routine. Ender folk are more solitary than other hominins, they are often seen in pairs or trios of mixed sexes, at night. In these groups, they build rudimentary structures that usually serve no purpose but often will look pleasing to the eye. One common structure is a pillar of rocks near strongholds, the Ender folk possibly sensing the radiation they emit. Ender folk are not fond of prolonged eye contact, if anyone looks into their eyes, they’ll turn extremely aggressive. When interacting with Ender Folk, it is recommended for people to wear one-way eye gear. Another less practical way is to wear a pumpkin over your head. Like people, their personalities differ a lot from individual to individual. However, a lot of them are compassionate and kind individuals. They have been seen caring for feral cattle, pigs, sheep, and dogs.
Ender folk still use an altered form of English to communicate, and until the PLAYERs, they were left to wander the overworld, being feared by the native villagers.
