Today, russia struck a restaurant and a kids playground in Kryvyy Rih, Ukraine, with a cluster ballistic missile, killing at least 16 people, 6 of whom were children.

Yet another Russian war crime
41
u/yoklan57 1d ago
There is nothing called war crime because the WAR is a crime itself.
25
u/yoklan57 1d ago
Well shit, people really downvoted this so as a reminder, war is not listening to phonk on your headphones and playing call of duty and respawning all the time. You are going to die, and your family too, and many innocent people too. Just because of a old fucked up rich man's anger because he can't even have an erection. If you want to get killed by stupid drones and high caliber machine guns for "nothing" be my guest. War is not cool. War is a crime. War must belong to the primitive man's because they couldn't use their brain like us. If you don't have a fucking brain and your own thoughts go on you stupid shits. Fight like a pig and gutted like them.

Unfortunately in allowing Israel to commit genocide with the explicit backing of the United States, the US has basically announced to the world that it’s ok to commit war crimes now.
54
u/Lick_my_balloon-knot 1d ago
Oof, I can totally see myself thinking "no worries, we can go to the playground, the chance of something happening is slim to non". And then this happens and I would blame myself for the rest of my life (if I lived and my kids died).

Whew the karmic debt these demons have been accruing
18
u/_Resnad_ 1d ago
Problem is karma seems to be nonexistent to these ppl. Like some people can do all the evil they can like here murdering children and nothing bad really happens. Like what bad could happen that would be worse than your child dying? Karma seems to not exist for the truly evil. At least not in this fucked up world of ours.

Nothing, compared to what Israel is and has done.
EDIT: Not saying Russia committing war crimes isn't bad; I just hope you're holding Israel to the same standard.

Russia, America, and Israel are killing kids with impunity and with no fear of repercussions. When will the international community stand up to them?
What recourse do regular people have to hold governments accountable that don't make children's deaths a red line in their military tactics?
1
u/SHEEEEESH-_- 1d ago
What country do you think exists which can afford to condemn America, Russia and Israel?
2
u/oasiscat 1d ago
Wrong question. It should be "which international body can afford to condemn them and back it up?" Unfortunately, that's not the UN either, since it's toothless without the backing of all 3 of those countries.
So I guess the answer is the same as the answer to your original question: none.

no it isn't a competition, it's hypocrisy!
0
u/Szenbanyasz 11h ago
What is the hypocrisy here exactly?
1
u/sohailkhan46 6h ago
the hypocrisy is the fake news of 40 beheaded Israeli babies were all over the world but since then thousands of babies has been killed by US backed IDF with thousands of video proofs and they've been deliberately targeting those vulnerable people but no one bets an eye and the fact that you're saying "where's the hypocrisy" is hypocrisy in itself!
1
u/sohailkhan46 6h ago
and let's not forget people who are speaking against the GENOCIDE are being punished either getting deported or getting jailed while the people who are actually commiting/supporting it are being celebrated!
3
u/vabeach23451 1d ago
I have to ask…. If you know your home area is an ACTIVE war zone (bombs falling, missiles flying) and has been for a few years, why TF are you staying there with children? Why be outraged if your friends or family are hit when you should’ve left like most everyone else did? Sorry I just can’t understand why anyone would stay, with children no less, in an active war zone.
2
u/Ukie_Uke 19h ago edited 14h ago
Are you asking in a good faith? There are many reasons. Some ladies do not want to leave their husbands and go with children abroad. They see that many families have been destroyed because of that.
1
u/LingonberryFearless 13h ago
Some people are broke, some people have family members fighting in the war, some people have reasons they can't leave (livelihood, belongings, other attachments). Are you really trying to blame the children for being bombed because they were in a playground? The place is an active war zone but so is like the entirety of east Ukraine. That doesn't mean Russia should be bombing playgrounds and restaurants.

Trump is gonna blame the children for being in a "war zone", and "these sort of things just happen in war", "Ukraine is the bad one, they're the one keeping this war going, they practically started it!"

u/rflav 1d ago
nobody says a word? signal gate?

u/SprayArtist 1d ago
Signal gate had more Americans upset at the fact their officials were using signal for communication as opposed to government approved communications networks. Very little of the upset was directed at the fact that actual Yemenis were being bombed.

This is a retarded take on said matter. This is not not about he is worse than him, these childish accusations doesn't contribute in any positive way. I don't care if the child is from Ukraine or gaza my hearth bleeds when I see such horrible vile inhumane acts. So stop making this about one side or another, we all agree killing children is beyond fucked up.

u/jumpoffthisroof 1d ago
This is very sad, but Not once this account posted about Palestinian kids being murdered by Israeli defence forces, why such double standards?
1
u/Szenbanyasz 11h ago
So you either post about every single atrocity ever, or you can't post any?
If someone posts about both Palestine and Ukraine, but they don't post anything about RSF crimes in Darfur, or junta crimes in Myanmar, they also should stop? So we should just ingore everything ever, because there's always something else too, right?

What model was it? I thought ballistics wouldn't have enough payload, and too much velocity, for cluster munitions.
1
u/WastedKun2 20h ago
It was an Iskander ballistic missile loaded with a cluster warhead that was purposely detonated in the air to maximize the number of civilian casualties.
1
u/reeeelllaaaayyy823 20h ago
Aah, I didn't realize Iskander was ballistic, I was thinking of that other "experimental" one the assholes hit Ukraine with in November.

Trump ended the war in one day, even if he didn’t two days after that it would’ve ended as it was only a 3 day operation.. this news would be real if the democrats had anything to say about it.. they would’ve armed Ukraine to stop this attack and continued the war /s

Not the first time they attack a playground in the middle of a park. They launch so many missiles and drones randomly to cities that I don't know if these objectives are intentional, but definitely these daily attacks are aimed at civilians. Remember the russian scum claim they only attack military objectives. A thing nobody in the whole world believes, including themselves.

Someone please educate me on this matter. This is definitely a war-crime, but what happens now? How does Russia as a country face these crimes against humanity?
1
u/WastedKun2 15h ago
That's only possible in the case of russia losing the war but now Ukraine's position on the battlefield has significantly worsened, unfortunately. Besides that, only sanctions can apply pressure on russia and suffocate its war machine.

That's probably not a cluster but the collateral damage is probably from shrapnel. Iskander missle has A LOT of deadly shrapnel.

This happens in war, maybe there were Ukrainian soldiers hiding in these building using the civilians as human shields. Russian army is the most moral army in the world. Also Ukraine is historically part of Russia anyway. Ukrainians are already self relocating to other parts of Europe and America and this should be encouraged more. I heard Putin wants to redevelop with more casinos and hotel and bars, this is a really good idea as lots of people can go and enjoy holidays in Ukraine/Russia.
