Shit Liberals Say Even when acknowledging the things they US has done there has to be someone worse
Wtf did china and Russia do in that time period that was worse than the us?
Even when they're saying the us did horrific things they have to slide in "oh but Russia and china are worse"

To be fair they can say some stuff for China but not as much for the ussr as China would fund a fascist dictatorship like pol pot in cambodia just to spite the soviets and prop up other reactionary leaders just to spite the soviets out of pettiness but I genuinely don't understand the ussr point like are they gonna bring up the fascist Hungarian uprising and claim the ussr was going too far to crush fascists?

We know about that but the "don't get me started" part makes it seem like china and Russia were way worse during that time period, which is just not true.

I'm going to be honest, I don't really think that the phrase "don't get me started" necessarily indicates that China and Russia did worse than the United States. I think it is more of a "I could go on and on about this topic". Now I can't be sure what the commenters actual position on who was worse is, but given that there are so many terrible takes about this kind of thing already, it seems unnecessary to go searching for it when it isn't even explicitly stated.

Saying that you could list the US but would need a significantly longer time to list and discuss Russia/China's actions is just wrong though, if you treat them with equal depth.

That’s certainly one example and the US has done this how many dozens of times in Latin America? (& Asia & Africa). It just doesn’t hold up to the screenshot comment claiming “and don’t get me started on China & Russia”

China's move with arming the Khmer Rouge and then invading Vietnam after Vietnam stopped them is truly one of the most baffling and awful things they have done.
But yeah someone I was arguing with brought up Hungary and Czechoslovakia and I will be honest, I don't know much about these invasions or anything. I just know whatever they did pales in comparison to the US.

The two things that stick out are invading Vietnam and Afghanistan two things the US did in far more horrific fashions

“What are they gonna bring up the fascists Hungarian uprising and claim the USSR was going to far…” Yes and the context of the uprising will of course be left out or not they don’t care. Stalin was eating all the grain or some shit they’ll say. Disingenuous is the game on that end. It’s how they twist themselves to gorillians of victims and whatever other horseshit they dump at our feet like it’s facts or information. I say this in jest not in critique of your point, but they do lie aggressively 😂😂😂

Go figure which imaginary Red Scare they speaking about.
It still pure crazy shit that Americans barely have any idea of how and why HUAC happened or at least how ridiculous it was. Or how their country literally protected Nazis after WW2(Industrialists pardons) or how they defended Franco. All that shit is in free acess, with all the documents and stenography.
Common knowledge of history is such neverending scam at best and nightmare fuel at worst. And even worse is that people somehow being teached in such way that they never even question things that very obviously are fake and that have documents proving them being fake in open sources.
