I made it to work today but only stayed until lunch. I'm having pain and spending time in the heat wrap sounded beneficial. So that's what is happening.
I feel like I'm doing good with eating today. Yogurt, a protein shake, and a blueberry muffin in the morning, and finally the sausage egg and cheese croissant that I put in the fridge days ago. Dinner will be an Asian themed chicken, edamame, and rice.
Today is one of Bub's cousin's birthdays and they didn't tell us they were doing anything for her until today, and it's happening this evening. Unfortunately we already have plans this evening, including having a guest over for dinner. I really wish SIL would make plans in advance, so we'd be able to plan it out and actually go. We missed 2 other birthdays this year already because of their lack of planning. I just feel bad because how do you explain to a 10 year old "we didn't go to your party because your mom sucks at letting people know ahead of time"? I ordered her a cool card, it's all about being 10 and the things that happened the year they were born. I got one for Bub's friend for her 9th and she liked it. I also ordered a pretty butterfly journal that comes with a pen. 10 year old me had a journal. Why not cousin?
Tonight I have Chinese class. I did my homework yesterday, all except writing the characters. Ive been using pinyin for everything.
There's a street fair going on downtown that D, Bub, and our dinner guest are going to. I hope they have a good time!
