āLooks awesome, too bad its a Kiaā
Said about anything cool that Kia/Hyundai makes

They sabotaged their reputation over a $3 immobilizer, followed it up with a decade of unreliable theta engines, and the cherry on top was the otherwise stellar Telluride/Palisade models having recalls for catching on fire and burning your house down.
Thereās a reason people are wary of these brands.

I dunno, in 25k miles my Telluride has been more dependable than my Silverado or Explorer were at same mileage. (But I do worry about something catastrophic happening)

My mom's Santa Fe went through 3 warranty engines in under 100k miles.

Thereās a story like that about every brand.
The data shows that Kia/Hyundai have above average reliability.

Theyāve made huge strides in quality but the brand name respect hasnāt adjusted accordingly

It took Mazda two decades of reliability before they combed the ārespectā rankings.

It doesn't help that most of the dealerships are still run like they only have sub-prime customers

The reliability scores are such BS. They rank the infotainment the same as engines exploding

The Tasman isn't coming to the States but a new truck is and possibly a Hyundai version. Rumor is it might be like a Ranger Raptor clone.

I just read an article about GM working out a deal with Hyundai where they will get to produce a version of the Colorado and GM will get access to Hyundaiās electric work vans

I dig it. It's very cassette-futurist with a little 80s dystopia mixed in.

Bring it to the US, we need an affordable pick up truck.

They bring it in as an affordable truck. It sells great for 3-6 months. The price doubles or more. And then they wonder why they arenāt selling more.
Case in point. The ford maverick

I can recognize that some people might love this look, but it's not for me. The wheels especially. If you like it, more power to you.

This specific one with the body color fender flares looks so much better than the ones in black that just look glued on.
