i lay on my side to scroll on my phone, and he just squirms in there and tanks. its comfy because im super cold because of anemia, but we have a rule in the house that is if a cat sits or lays on you, you cant move for any reason. its a bit of a problem if i need to pee... because hes just too cute. i cant just push him off 😭😭😭

Gigi's one brain cell is working hard tonight.

My boy, Dutch (of red dead redemption fame 🤠) turned one late last month or early this month. Last night was the first bad thunder storm he's been through. We sleep in my room with my door shut. Normally he sleeps on my legs, side or back but he hid under the bed. There was a lot of house shaking thunder last night.

Now, he's acting normal until he gets in my room. He's playing with the dog, hanging out on my dad's couch in the living room. But when I take him to my room, he gets off my bed immediately and he's not following me around, under my feet, sitting next to me when I cook or brush my teeth or all the other Velcro cat things he usually does. He's acting like I personally made the thunder and brought it to our home. The storm has been over for about 6-8 hours now. He's not hiding anymore but it's like he's in a good mood until I come around then he's leery of me or annoyed with me.

Will he go back to normal with me? He's not acting different with my dad, but he doesn't sleep with him and wasn't with him during the storm. It's like he doesn't trust me right now and it's breaking my heart. He's the first cat I've had from such a young age and only my third cat. My first two didn't have issues with storms. I hate this 😭

Her name is Natalie and she’s almost 9 months old! I got her from a friend of a friend who offered to drive her to CO from WV! Definitely some divine intervention so I could have my new best friend ❤️

Since she’s my first tux, I’m not sure what to expect for temperament. She wants to play at all hours, loves bugging my roommates cat in a playful way and is just overall curious! I feel like these are mostly just cat/kitten traits but I’m excited to see what the future brings! Enjoy some photos I’ve taken throughout the months!
