Didn’t the application for Munich’s beer culture get rejected? Makes you wonder if that failed then what hope is there for our cask beer culture getting the recognition. Especially when most punters are ignoring it completely to drink Tadcaster brewed pretend Spanish beer.

I’m assuming this is from the Craft Beer Channel’s Keep Cask Alive series?

As it was created by a Jonathan Garrett I assumed so

Yep. Can't agree with this any more.

Been watching the whole Keep Cask Alive series on youtube and it's been a fascinating watch. I enjoy cask, but I'd never given it the reverance it deserves, and I'm going to make a big effort to drink more local cask now when I can.

Signed. I only drink cask in pubs now unless I'm supporting a local brewery.

Signed and shared. I hope this is more than symbolic, though symbolism is good.

I came in here to check if it has been shared. Good to see you are a couple of days ahead of me!

Sign and shared. I have really been enjoying the series and to some extent it has coincided with my renewed love of cask.

Too Niche a market for the Gov to give a flying hoot sadly.

Does this include John smiths! If so I’m out!

I don’t think I’ve ever seen John Smith’s served on cask anymore.
