He's physically making life more difficult for people. He's not helping anyone with a 9-5 in America.

u/Eroe777 2d ago

That's the point. The entire Republican agenda is aimed at harming as many people as possible.

113

u/neologismist_ 2d ago

And enriching the 1 percent.

u/Swiftax3 2d ago

Republicans at this point are anti life, anti human, anti god. Traitors and heretics one and all at this point.

I don’t think it’s that active. They simply don’t care unless you are useful to them. Why spend precious tax money keeping stupid lazy people alive who can’t even fend for themselves? I bet if you stopped giving Miss Ellie free food, she’ll get back out of her wheelchair at the nursing home and get right back to work making our economy strong again! See, it’s her fault the stock market is in free fall!

The masses can’t rise if they’re too busy panicking.

I'll never understand how so many people from the regular working class seemed to genuinely believe Trump would look out for them.

Not really uplifting is it?

"Volunteers must compensate for the government"

Yeah, this is more r/orphancrushingmachine material

The goal is to ruin the economy. Destroying social programs does this quickly in combination with cost of living increases.

He is trying to tank the economy so the billionaires can buy the dip while we all struggle to make ends meet

(Im sorry if this comment isn’t uplifting, but I find it the opposite of uplifting news to see “taxpayers have their money stolen and donate their own time and money to programs that were already going along fine”)

What a president, always thinking of ways to take food from poor people.

20

u/wkomorow 2d ago

No one in America should lack food, shelter, and clean water. It great to see people stepping up when the government fails.

Trump is a complete Sociopath.

Not one maga pervert should benefit.

Let me ask you something. All this aid that gets cancelled, that process gets halted mid-production right? It's a constant process of manufacture, processing perishable foods right? And this isn't the first time he's cancelled this kind of aid. So what happens to all the perishables that were already in that process? Does anyone ever think about that? How much more money is wasted by simply halting a process like he's doing without any planning or forethought? I think that needs to be analyzed.

He gives it to Putin just like he gave our medical supplies during the pandemic.

12

u/vicsfoolsparadise 2d ago

He doesn't care about details like that. And his people probably just give him the basics as in saving X amount of dollars. It's all he can comprehend.

u/pacowek 1d ago

His administration is cancelling scientific projects (grants) that have been ongoing for years, before the results are completed. The wastage is easily in the many millions.

Reduction in waste/fraud has never been the goal. It's just flexing that he can cancel them, because that makes him feel powerful.

4

u/Odedoralive 2d ago

He successfully socialized the cost...in more ways than one.

10

u/Komikaze06 2d ago

So canceling proper funding and relying on unpaid labor?

11

u/words_of_j 2d ago

Is has been his business strategy in the past - just ask all this never paid by him, who did the work.

5

u/Komikaze06 2d ago

Cut funding, volunteers step in...

Volunteers request help...

Leaders cry people just want handouts...

Profit?

u/Over-Pick-7366 1d ago

This is what he wants to do with his time in office? Fuck him. Someone yank him from office. Petulant little boy with nothing but a grudge should be in jail.

3

u/SpaceMoehre 2d ago

Don’t support each other. Let them suffer so they know whom to thank. Their hunger will be fuel for the fires of the revolution.

Jk awesome work of these guys

2

u/tmoney144 2d ago

Yeah, that won't happen. What will happen is that the Trump voters who rely on food banks will show up and yell at the volunteers when there isn't food for them. Then they'll claim the only people who are actually trying to help them gave away all the food to illegal immigrants and will double down on voting for Trump.

Am i crazy or is almost one meal for every person in the state alot? Is all of delaware starving?

18

u/puppymama75 2d ago

Let’s say a senior citizen is skipping a meal a day because her pension hasn’t risen with inflation. The food bank says 1 in 8 Delawareans needs their help. A million people give or take, 1 in 8 is 125,000. 125,000 people need an extra meal per day using this really ballpark math means that 900,000 meals covers the need for 7 days.

9

u/carnoworky 2d ago

"Between April and July alone, the Food Bank [of Delaware] is going to lose 900,000 meals that they would normally give out and this is devastating to the people who use the food banks-- seniors, children, individuals with disabilities, and families who are barely scraping by. It's a lot of folks."

u/neologismist_ 2d ago edited 2d ago

Try your math again. .9 million meals divided by 6.3 million residents equals .14 meals per person

Edit-that’s Maryland’s population, not Delaware. :-/

2

u/Penguinsburgh 2d ago

6.3 million residents? are you perhaps looking at the population of Denmark instead of Delaware?

3

u/neologismist_ 2d ago

D’oh. I should go back to bed. Not Denmark, Maryland. Apologies.

1

u/Herkfixer 1d ago

One meal.. for 3 months? You must be pretty skinny.

-12

u/deadhead4ever 2d ago

NWO population control has been implemented.
